The fee for shipping your order(s) if your destination is international is $40.00 cdn on top of any current shipping charges.

Is the dispensing fee charged for each prescription?
Our Dispensing fees are included in our prices. There are NEVER any hidden fees at Canadameds.com.

Are all prescription drugs made available?
Not all drugs are available in Canada.

What is the difference between a brand name drug and a Generic drug?
A generic drug is a medication for which the original manufacturer has lost patent protection. Because of this, other manufacturers are allowed to produce and sell the exact medication at a lower more competitive price.

The generic drug is the exact same medication as the original brand name drug, simply made by another company. Due to strict regulations on the generic drug industry, these drugs must provide the same therapeutic effect as the brand name drug. For more information on specific Brand Name and Generic Drugs, please see our Prescription Drug Index.

How long will my order take to process?
It takes at least up to 10 - 14 business days to process your prescriptions once we have your COMPLETE patient profile and your VALID prescription, plus 7 to 10 business days for shipping. The entire ordering process can take up to 21 working days to arrive at your door.
Why can Canadameds only write a prescription for a maximum of 3 months?
Due to regulations put into place by the FDA, citizens are only allowed to import a maximum of 3 months worth of medication for personal use. Any amount above this 3 month limit is not considered "personal use".
What can slow down the process of my order?
At Canadameds, our goal is to get your medications processed within 8 business days, and 7-10 business days for shipping. Sometimes, this process can be slowed down slightly if:

a) Your credit card information is inaccurate or incomplete. Always ensure that you copy down your credit card information accurately, and ensure that all the fields are completed when filling in our on-line forms.

b) Your credit card company denies the purchase because it is from a foreign company. Sometimes as a security measure, credit card companies will deny purchases that are made in a foreign country if they can tell that you haven't traveled there recently. It helps if you are able to speak to your credit card company to let them know that a purchase from Canadameds.com will be going through on your credit card, so that they will know to permit this purchase.

What do you accept for payment?
At Canadameds, we accept VISA and MasterCard. We DO NOT accept Personal Checks or Postal Money Orders.
Do you accept prescription returns?
We can not accept returns. The law states that, "A pharmacist shall not accept for return to inventory any drug that has been previously dispensed" Pharmaceutical Act Section 23(1) Return Medication (1)
