Drug Information

This medicine is used to relieve burning, itching eyes caused by dry eyes.
Mechanism:
This medicine contains a lubricant to soothe the eyes and other ingredients that maintain proper pH in the eyes.

Side Effects

Possible side effects with the use of this medicine may include; mild stinging, temporary blurred vision.
Precautions:
Some products contain preservatives which may cause irritation in persons with allergies or soft contact lenses. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist for more information.
Preganant:
Talk to your doctor about using this medicine during pregnancy or nursing to discuss any possible risks to you or your baby.

Dosage Information

Artificial tears are used when needed. Instill 1 or 2 drops to the affected eye(s) as needed. Use caution so that you don’t contaminate the tip or cap of the container. Soft contact lenses should not be used with certain products, see precautions.
Missed Dosage:
If your doctor has instructed you to take this medicine regularly and you miss a dose, take your next dose, as soon as you remember. If you are close to your next dose, do not double up. Skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule.
Storage:
Keep this medication in the container it came in, tightly closed, and out of reach of children. Store it at room temperature and away from excess heat and moisture (not in the bathroom). Throw away any medication that is outdated or no longer needed.
Overdose:
Overdoses are unlikely. Contact your regional poison control center for non emergency information.
