Drug Information

This medicine is a muscle relaxer and is used to treat muscle spasms and pain. Baclofen is available by a prescription from your doctor.

Side Effects

Tell your doctor if any of these side effects are severe or don't go away: drowsiness, dizziness, nausea, headache, nervousness
Precautions:
Be cautious when driving or performing other hazardous activities. This medicine can impair judgment.
Preganant:
For women: If you plan on becoming pregnant, talk to your doctor about the benefits versus the risks of using this medicine during pregnancy. For lactating mothers, it is unknown whether this medicine is excreted in the breast milk. Check with your doctor before breastfeeding.

Dosage Information

Follow the directions given to you by your doctor. This medicine is taken orally and may be taken with food to avoid stomach upset.
Missed Dosage:
Take your next dose as soon as you remember. If it is time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double doses.
Storage:
Keep this medication in the container it came in, tightly closed, and out of reach of children. Store it at room temperature and away from excess heat and moisture (not in the bathroom). Throw away any medication that is outdated or no longer needed.
Overdose:
Seek medical attention immediately. For non emergencies, contact your local or regional poison control center at 1-800-222-1222.
