Drug InformationThis medicine is used to treat athlete's foot, ringworm and jock itch. Your doctor may prescribe this medicine for other conditions as well.
Mechanism:
Antifungals work by blocking a chemical needed by the fungus to build cell walls. If the fungus cannot build cell walls, they cannot survive.

This medicine is for topical use only. Do NOT get this medicine in your eyes, nose or mouth.

Dosage InformationFor proper use of this medicine, follow the directions on the package, unless otherwise instructed by your doctor. Clean the affected area with soap and water. Apply enough medicine to cover the affected areas. Do not bandage or wrap the affected areas unless your doctor has told you to do so.
Missed Dosage:
If your doctor has instructed you to take this medicine regularly and you miss a dose, take your next dose, as soon as you remember. If you are close to your next dose, do not double up. Skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule.
Storage:
Keep this medication in the container it came in, tightly closed, and out of reach of children. Store it at room temperature and away from excess heat and moisture (not in the bathroom). Throw away any medication that is outdated or no longer needed.
Overdose:
Seek medical attention immediately. For non emergencies, contact your local or regional poison control center.
