Side Effectscough
Precautions:
Patients taking this drug should be closely monitored if they have any history of liver disease.
Preganant:
If you suspect that you may be pregnant, talk to your doctor, since it is recommended that this drug be used with caution during pregnancy, weighing benefits against possible risks. For nursing mothers, it is unknown whether this medicine is excreted in the breast milk. Discuss with your doctor possible risks to your baby while taking this medicine.

Dosage InformationTake the medicine as prescribed regularly. Take the first dose of this drug at bedtime. Dizziness may occur with this medicine, especially after the first dose, or when the dose is increased, so be cautious.
Missed Dosage:
Take your next dose as soon as you remember. If it is time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double doses.
Storage:
Keep this medication in the container it came in, tightly closed, and out of reach of children. Store it at room temperature and away from excess heat and moisture (not in the bathroom). Throw away any medication that is outdated or no longer needed.
