Drug InformationThis medicine is a type of cancer chemotherapy. This medicine treats cancers, such as, leukemia, breast, lung, bladder, thyroid, bone, stomach, ovarian and Wilsm's tumor and lymphoma. This medicine is used alone or with other cancer chemotherapy medicines.
Mechanism:
This medicine interferes with the growth of cancer cells and causes cell death.

Side EffectsThe most common side effects with medicine are: diarrhea, hair loss, red or water eyes, red color urine (1 or 2 days after treatment), nail discoloration or damage, heartburn, facial flushing
Precautions:
Before taking this medicine, talk to health care provider if you have any of the following conditions: heart disease, liver disease, previous radiation therapy, blood disorders, bleeding problems, previous chemotherapy with idarubicine, daunorubicin, epirubicine, or mitoxantrone, gout, infection (viral bacterial or fungal), angina, hypertension, having intramuscular injections, an allergic or unusual reaction to this medicine or other chemotherapy medicines
Preganant:
Before taking this medicine , talk to your health care provider if your pregnant, breastfeeding or planning to become pregnant. This medicine can cause BIRTH DEFECTS. DO NOT become pregnant while being treated with this medicine. You MUST use birth control methods while receiving this treatment or if your partner is being treated with this medicine.

Dosage InformationThis medicine is usually given in a hospital or clinic setting. It is infused into a vein by your health care provider or trained professionals.
Missed Dosage:
DO NOT miss a dose. Talk to health care provider if you can not make your appointment.
Storage:
There is no storage required. This medicine is usually given at the hospital or clinic setting. You will NOT be taking this medicine home.
