Mechanism:
Oral electrolyte solutions contain sodium, chloride, potassium and bicarbonate. These electrolytes are important to maintain body functions.

Side EffectsThis medicine does not have side effects if used as directed.
Precautions:
Oral solutions should NOT be used in situations where there is severe fluid loss. Severe loss of fluids may require hospitalization. Do NOT use this product if you have pain, nausea, or vomiting. See a doctor as soon as possible.
Preganant:
Electrolyte solutions are considered safe in pregnancy and lactation if used correctly. Women are advised to see their doctor if diarrhea continues more than a couple of days.

Dosage InformationFor proper use of this medicine, follow the directions on the package, unless otherwise instructed by your doctor.
Missed Dosage:
If your doctor has instructed you to take this medicine regularly and you miss a dose, take your next dose, as soon as you remember. If you are close to your next dose, do not double up. Skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule.
Storage:
Keep this medication in the container it came in, tightly closed, and out of reach of children. Store it at room temperature and away from excess heat and moisture (not in the bathroom). Throw away any medication that is outdated or no longer needed.
Overdose:
Seek medical attention immediately. For non emergencies, contact your local or regional poison control center at 1-800-222-1222.
