Side EffectsIncrease in blood pressure, in heart rate, restlessness, anxiety, dizziness, insomnia, dry mouth, anorexia, nausea, vomiting, and difficulty urinating.
Precautions:
Ephedra has the potential for abuse because of its use as a stimulant.
Preganant:
Ephedra can stimulate uterine contraction, so should not be used during pregnancy. There is insufficient available on safety of use while nursing.
