Drug InformationThis medicine is used to treat mild to moderate pain associated with rheumatoid and osteoarthritis. Your doctor may used this medicine to treat other conditions as well.

This medicine works by blocking the effects of prostaglandins, chemicals in the body that cause pain and inflammation.

Side Effectsnausea
Precautions:
This medicine should be used with caution in patients with a history of: aspirin or NSAID induced asthma, peptic ulcer disease, high blood pressure, congestive heart failure (CHF), or kidney disease.
Preganant:
Tell your doctor if you are pregnant before using this drug. Use of this drug in the last 6 months of pregnancy is not recommended. This drug is excreted into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

Dosage InformationTake this medicine with food or milk to avoid stomach upset. Do not crush or chew extended-release forms. Talk to your pharmacist for more information.
Missed Dosage:
Take your next dose as soon as you remember. If it is time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double doses.
Storage:
Keep this medication in the container it came in, tightly closed, and out of reach of children. Store it at room temperature and away from excess heat and moisture (not in the bathroom). Throw away any medication that is outdated or no longer needed.
Overdose:
Seek medical attention immediately. For non emergencies, contact your local or regional poison control center. Symptoms of overdose include: stomach upset, nausea, vomiting, feeling tired, ringing in the ears (tinnitus), confusion, headache and blurred vision.
