Side EffectsThe following side effects usually do not require medical attention. If these side effects continue or are bothersome, see your health care provider: chapped lips, dry eyes, dry mouth, dry nose, dry skin, flushing, hair loss, headache, increased sun sensitivity
Precautions:
Let your doctor know if you are allergic to isotretinoin, parabens, or any other medications.
Preganant:
This medicine is known to cause birth defects. DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE DURING PREGNANCY. If you think you might be pregnant, contact your doctor immediately. You must have two negative pregnancy tests before starting this medication. Use two reliable methods of birth control together for at least one month before beginning therapy, during therapy, and for 1 month after medicine is stopped.

Dosage InformationTake this medicine as directed by your doctor. This medicine comes with a consent form. Read and sign the consent form. Your prescription must have a yellow qualification sticker in order for your pharmacist to fill the prescription. This applies to U.S. residents only. This medicine should be taken with food or milk.
Missed Dosage:
Take your next dose as soon as you remember. If it is time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double doses.
Storage:
Keep this medication in the container it came in, tightly closed, and out of reach of children. Store it at room temperature and away from excess heat and moisture (not in the bathroom). Throw away any medication that is outdated or no longer needed.
Overdose:
Seek medical attention immediately. For non emergencies, contact your local or regional poison control center at 1-800-222-1222.
