Drug InformationBecause Medium Chain Tryglycerides (MCT) are used for energy faster than other fats, some athletes believe there may be a benefit for exercise endurance. This has not been scientifically proven.
Mechanism:
MCT have a lower caloric content compared with longer chain fatty acids. They are more rapidly absorbed and burned as energy.
