Drug InformationMelatonin has been used for insomnia, jet lag and glaucoma. Although melatonin has been shown to lower pressure in the eye, studies have not been published that recommend it for people with glaucoma. Your doctor may advise you to use melatonin for other conditions as well.

Side EffectsMelatonin is associated with few side effects, however a few have been reported: morning grogginess, drowsiness, sleepwalking, feeling disoriented
