Drug InformationThis medicine is used to treat infection caused by two of the most common flu viruses.
Mechanism:
This medicine may decrease the length of time you have the flu by 1 or 2 days. It may also help reduce the risk of spreading of the flu to others.

Side EffectsThe most common side effect are: coughing, dizziness, headache, difficulty sleeping, nausea and vomiting
Precautions:
Before taking this medicine talk to your health care provider if you have any of the following: decreased kidney function, heart disease, liver disease, lung disease, an allergic reaction to: this medicine, other medicines, foods, dyes, preservatives.
Preganant:
Talk to your doctor about using this medicine during pregnancy or nursing to discuss any possible risks to you or your baby. For nursing mothers, this medicine is excreted in breast milk. DO NOT breast feed while taking this medicine.

Dosage InformationTake this medicine by mouth with or without food. If this medicine upset your stomach, take it with food. Follow your health care providers instructions on how to take this medicine. This medicine is usually given twice a day for 5 days. To treat the flu.
Missed Dosage:
Take your next dose as soon as you remember. If it is time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double doses.
Storage:
Store at room temperature. Throw away any unused medicine after the expiration date. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
Overdose:
Seek medical attention immediately. For non emergencies, contact your local or regional poison control center at 1-800-222-1222.
