Precautions:
This medicine should be used with caution by patients with an allergy to morphine or codeine.
Preganant:
For women, this medicine should not be used during pregnancy. If you suspect that you may be pregnant, talk to you doctor. For nursing mothers, it is unknown whether this medicine is excreted in breast milk. It is advised not to breast-feed while taking this medication.

Dosage InformationThis medication works blocking pain signals to the brain. It should be taken every 12 hours with food. Your dose will vary depending on your weight, age, and pain severity. Generally adult doses are between 10 and 40 milligrams every 12 hours. It is important to follow your prescription directions carefully.
Missed Dosage:
Take your next dose as soon as you remember. If it is time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double doses.
Storage:
Keep this medication in the container it came in, tightly closed, and out of reach of children. Store it at room temperature and away from excess heat and moisture (not in the bathroom). Throw away any medication that is outdated or no longer needed.
