Drug InformationPeople have used quercetin for asthma, atherosclerosis, cataracts, diabetes, edema, gout, hay fever, high cholesterol, peptic ulcers and retinopathy.
Mechanism:
Quercetin has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and may slow the division and growth of T cells and some cancer cells. Quercetin has also demonstrated activity against Herpes simplex, polio and respiratory syncytial viruses.
