Drug Information

This medicine is used to treat psychotic disorders. Your doctor may use this medicine to treat other conditions as well.
Mechanism:
This medicine effects certain chemicals in the brain called "neurotransmitters". These neurotransmitters are known to affect behavior and mood.

Side Effects

This medicine may cause the following side effects: drowsiness, dizziness, constipation, dry mouth
Precautions:
Before using this medicine, tell your doctor if you have had an allergy to this medicine in the past.
Preganant:
Notify your doctor if you think you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant while taking this medicine. Do NOT take this medicine if your are breastfeeding. Talk to your doctor or pediatrician for more information.

Dosage Information

Take this medicine exactly as directed by your healthcare provider. AVOID EATING grapefruit or grapefruit juice while taking this medicine.
Missed Dosage:
Take your next dose as soon as you remember. If it is time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double doses.
Storage:
Keep this medication in the container it came in, tightly closed, and out of reach of children. Store it at room temperature, 20-25 degrees (68-77 F) and away from excess heat and moisture (not in the bathroom). Throw away any medication that is outdated or no longer needed.
Overdose:
Seek medical attention immediately. For non emergencies, contact your local or regional poison control center at 1-800-222-1222.
