Drug InformationRaloxifene is indicated for the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis in women after menopause. This medicine treats osteoporosis by helping to make your bones stronger, which means they are less likely to break.

This medication works by decreasing bone loss. In order to achieve maximum benefits from this medication, it should be taken with calcium and vitamin D.

Dosage InformationTake this medicine exactly as directed. This medicine is taken only once a day and can be taken with or without food.
Missed Dosage:
Take your next dose as soon as you remember. If it is time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double doses.
Storage:
Keep this medication in the container it came in, tightly closed, and out of reach of children. Store it at room temperature and away from excess heat and moisture (not in the bathroom). Throw away any medication that is outdated or no longer needed.
