Drug Information

This medicine is an anticholinergic drug used to treat overactive bladder or to decrease excessive urination (urinary frequency).
Mechanism:
This drug works on the bladder by increasing residual urine volume and decreasing pressure on the bladder, making it more difficult to urinate.

Precautions:
This medicine should NOT be taken if you are allergic to any ingredient in it.
Preganant:
It is advised to discuss the benefits versus the risks with your doctor if you are pregnant or thinking of becoming pregnant. Do not take this medicine if you are nursing or planning to breastfeed.

Dosage Information

Follow the directions given to you by your doctor. This medicine is taken orally twice daily twice daily. You may take this medicine with water or milk but it is advised not to use beverages that contain caffeine (such as coffee, colas or teas), or grapefruit juice. This medicine is taken orally and may be taken with or without food.
Missed Dosage:
Take your next dose as soon as you remember. If it is time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double doses.
Storage:
Keep this medication in the container it came in, tightly closed, and out of reach of children. Store it at room temperature and away from excess heat and moisture (not in the bathroom). Throw away any medication that is outdated or no longer needed.
Overdose:
Seek medical attention immediately. For non emergencies, contact your local or regional poison control center.
