Drug InformationThis medicine is a naturally occurring form of vitamin A. It is applied to the skin to treat mild to moderate acne or to treat the effects of aging on the face, such as, fine lines, wrinkles or age spots.

Side EffectsThe most common side effects are: increased sensitivity to sun, itching, mild stinging, red inflamed and irritated skin with peeling after a few days
Precautions:
Before taking this medicine talk to health care provider if you have any of the following conditions: eczema, excessive sensitivity to the sun, sunburn, an unusual or allergic reaction to this medicine, other medicines, vitamin A, or any foods preservatives or dyes or foods
Preganant:
Talk to your health care provider if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or planning on becoming pregnant.

Dosage InformationFollow your health care provider instructions on apply this medicine. This medicine is usually applied at night. Gently wash your face with mild non medicated soap. Pat your skin dry. AVOID getting this medicine in your eyes, ears, nostrils, angles of the nose and mouth. After applying this medicine use a non irritating moisturizer with a sunscreen of at least SPF 15 in the morning after you apply this medicine.
Missed Dosage:
If you miss a dose, skip that dose and resume your regular schedule. DO NOT take extra doses or use longer than prescribed.
Storage:
Store a room temperature. DO NOT freeze. Keep away for heat or flames and protect from light. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
Overdose:
Seek medical attention immediately. For non emergencies, contact your local or regional poison control center at 1-800-222-1222.
